Technical assistance for the reorganization of Tunisia-Telecom
Within the scope of an international co-operation project lead by a Canadian
governmental organization, we provided the necessary technical expertise for
the reorganization, the privatization and the sub-contracting of certain activities
of Tunisia-Telecom.
In 1995, following the signing of a free-trade agreement by Tunisia with the
European Union, this reorganization was necessary and preferable in order to
improve the productivity and performances of the Tunisian institutions with
regards to those of the European Union.
During Phase I, our mandate included, amongst others, the following activities:
The second phase of the co-operation project with Tunisia included providing recommendations pertaining to the implementation of a few of the sub-projects identified in Phase I. In this mission, the following four (4) sub-projects were selected to progress to the next step:
