Short description of the project:
A cellular operator received the authorization to use the 15 GHz band in order to carry their communications between various cells. YRH was given the task of examining the feasibility of these diverse links, through an international communication products leader. The network, situated between Tripoli to the North and Saida to the South, had to be linked to the switch located in Beirut. Some of MPT's existing sites were used for this purpose. Among these, was the site of Maad, 1 km away from Maad City. Its concrete tower, 55 meters high, with 3 metallic platforms, allows the installation of microwave and cellular equipment.
