Design and deployment of a microwave network
YRH was mandated by an equipment supplier to provide the technical expertise
for the design and deployment of a microwave network. The goal of the project
was to design a microwave communication system having 24 analogue channels between
the platform (BAGRE "A") and the base (KWANDA BASE), for a petroleum
company in the region of Soyo in Angola.
We performed path surveys on topographical maps, field studies, calculations
for the antenna heights, and the pathloss and reliability calculations for the
frequencies between 960 MHz and 2 GHz.
